The Algund Waalweg offers a fantastic combination of relaxation and nature experience. On this 5 to 6-kilometer trail, you’ll follow the historic Waal (water channel) and enjoy nearly flat paths. The route takes you through the districts of Ober- and Mitterplars, passing through picturesque vineyards, and continues to the Merano district of Gratsch. The breathtaking views of Algund and the Meran area are the best reward for hikers of all ages.

For those who want to explore even further: The famous Tappeinerweg continues from here into the center of Meran. From there, the city bus conveniently takes you back to the center of Algund.
